DONE: 22-Year-Old Star Arrives in London for medical as Gunners dealt Eduardo Camavinga blow

Arsenal handed Eduardo Camavinga transfer blow

Arsenal have been dealt a huge blow in their pursuit of Real Madrid talent Eduardo Camavinga. The Gunners were interested in taking the French midfielder on loan until the end of the season but it looks as though a move for the 20-year-old won’t be happening.

Camavinga’s agent, Joshua Barnett, has now revealed that there is “no truth” in reports linking his client with a move to the Emirates Stadium. Barnett told transfer guru Fabrizio Romano: “There’s no truth.

“Of course every club in the world would want him. He’s very happy in Real Madrid and Real Madrid are very happy with Camavinga.”

Jakub Kiwior spotted at airport ahead of Arsenal medical

Arsenal are closing in on their second signing in the January transfer window. Arsenal remain in talks to complete the signing of Kiwior from Spezia, understands.

The young defender has been spotted at an Italian airport as he prepares to fly to London to complete the necessary medical tests ahead of his move to the Emirates Stadium. According to transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio, a £17.5million fee plus add-ons has already been agreed with Spezia and the formalities of the deal are set to be completed.

After weeks on talks over a deal for Mykhailo Mudryk, which eventually failed to come to fruition as the 22-year-old moved to Chelsea instead, Arsenal’s transfer business is finally underway as Edu looks to strengthen Arteta’s squad heading into the second half of the season.

Declan Rice drops major Arsenal summer transfer hint

West Ham captain Declan Rice has emerged as a priority player to pursue in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Gunners are looking to reinforce Mikel Arteta’s midfield options ahead of the 2023/24 campaign and Rice is seen as the perfect addition.

According to CBS Sports, Rice has been speaking of Arsenal in glowing terms to his teammates, pronouncing himself stunned with the progress the north London side has made. The English midfielder labelled the Gunners as “a top team” and admitted Arsenal are “coached incredibly well” after West Ham’s 3-1 defeat at the Emirates Stadium on Boxing Day.

Rice and his representatives have been planning for a move away for the Hammers, who are currently battling against relegation from the Premier League, with his contract set to expire next summer. The 24-year-old has rejected a new deal at the London Stadium on numerous occasions as looks to finally seal a move away from West Ham.
