Martinelli and Bukayo Saka to start, Predicted Arsenal line-up(4-2-3-1) against Leicester City

Arsenal continue their roller-coaster of a season as they get ready to travel to Leicester City on Saturday, so let’s take a look at the predicted lineup.

The Gunners pulled off a hugely important win over Aston Villa and with Manchester City only pulling off a draw, they find themselves with a lead at the top of the table. That turn of events would surely have given the team a little more confidence ahead of facing the Foxes.

Aaron Ramsdale will continue in goal and will want to get a clean sheet after missing out in the last few games. It is unlikely that the manager would want to make any changes as far as the full backs are concerned. It is going to be Ben White on the right with Alex Zinchenko on the left.

William Saliba and Gabriel have been a rock at the heart of the defence and will have to be at their best in this game. The likes of James Maddison and Harvey Barnes can really hurt the visitors. Also, the two centre backs play a crucial role with their passing as they can help build up play.

As for the central midfield, it is going to be another matchday where we see Jorginho and Granit Xhaka take to the field. With doubts over the fitness of Thomas Partey, is it up to the veterans to put on another good showing.

Ahead of them, we could see Gabriel Martinelli return to the starting XI. He was given a rest at Villa with new arrival Leandro Trossard being preferred instead. But the Brazilian with his pace and directness will be a real threat against the Leicester high line. Along with the winger will be the ever-dependable presence of Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.

Eddie Nketiah has another game to showcase his talents and give a good impression before Gabriel Jesus returns. The movement of the striker along with his finishing should help the league leaders.

Arsenal would want to continue their wining ways as it is the only way to put pressure on City. It is not going to be easy beating a Leicester side that has seen a resurgence in the past few months.

Arsenal Predicted Lineup Against Leicester City (4-2-3-1):

Aaron Ramsdale, Ben White, William Saliba, Gabriel, Alex Zinchenko, Jorginho, Granit Xhaka, Bukayo Saka, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli, Eddie Nketiah
