SUMMER SIGNING: Arsenal set to renew talks with 23-year-old Bundesliga winger

Moussa Diaby could depart Bayer Leverkusen in the summer. The Bundesliga giants could sell many footballers, including the winger, with PL clubs Arsenal and Newcastle United interested in France international. Diaby has been a footballer of interest to many clubs since last summer.

The German club’s huge asking price scuppered any potential moves. Moussa is a glowing talent in the current scenario. A transfer to the PL is the likeliest scenario in the upcoming window. Bayer Leverkusen could cash in if the price is right, which might be lower than what they wanted in January.

During mid-season, the Bundesliga giants did not want to sell their crucial footballers, including the 23-year-old winger. Those included Arsenal, who approached. The London giants were reportedly quoted €100m for the French attacker, which did not feel right for Mikel Arteta and Edu.

Arsenal have him on their shortlist as Mikel Arteta seeks a new right winger in his squad. They did sign Trossard, but the Spanish coach wants someone to compete with Saka next campaign. Arsenal are an attractive destination as they are clear favourites to win the PL.

Hence, their entry into the next campaign’s UCL is more or less guaranteed. That alone is enough to attract top names in the market, and the Frenchman is growing in stature with his displays for Bayer Leverkusen. A battle between Arsenal and Newcastle could ensue for the forward in the summer.
