Arsenal news: Folarin Balogun drops summer transfer hint amid Gabriel Jesus Real Madrid links

Balogun transfer admission

Arsenal youngster Folarin Balogun has admitted that he could be forced to consider his future at the club ahead of the summer transfer window. The on-loan Reims striker told the Ligue 1 website: “Yeah I mean, contractually I have to go back. Because the loan was only for one year so that was always the agreement.

“But I’m not sure what is going to happen in the future. A lot could happen in football, a lot could change. It just depends on the conversations we have between me and the club in the summer, and we’ll see what happens.”

Gabriel Jesus to Real Madrid

According to reports, European champions Real Madrid are eyeing a potential switch for Arsenal star Gabriel Jesus in the coming months. Los Blancos are said to view the forward as an ideal replacement to Karim Benzema, given his ability to impact the game with his all-round play.

Real were also given a boost in their pursuit of non-EU players after gaining citizenship for Vinicius Jr, Eder Militao and Rodrygo, opening up extra spaces in the squad.

Odegaard reacts to Rodri tackle

During the clash between Spain and Norway during the international break, a late challenge from Manchester City star Rodri landed on Norway and Arsenal skipper Martin Odegaard, leaving him in a heap holding his ankle.

No action was taken by the referee, something that infuriated those on the pitch, while concerns soon switched to Odegaard and his fitness.
