Triple Mohammed Kudus transfer boost revealed as Edu gets GREEN LIGHT

Triple Kudus advantage

Arsenal and Chelsea are both pushing to sign Mohammed Kudus from Ajax in the summer transfer window. Both London clubs have identified the 22-year-old as a perfect signing to add depth in midfield and attack, with his versatility to play in several positions making him an attractive target.

With Arsenal in contact about the potential of signing Kudus, Chelsea have now sounded out Ajax over making a possible move for Kudus, football.london understands. The Blues are already pursuing deals for Rayan Cherki and Moises Caicedo, while reports from France have also revealed a bid has been lodged to sign Crystal Palace star Michael Olise.

Elye Wahi is also in advanced talks to complete a transfer from Montpellier to Chelsea. Therefore, it is quite clear the Blues are also focused on other deals which may give Mikel Arteta a free run at signing Kudus.

Olise hijack

Arsenal have the perfect opportunity to beat Chelsea and Manchester City in a deal to sign Crystal Palace star Michael Olise

The 21-year-old fits a similar profile to Ajax star Mohammed Kudus – who has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Chelsea this summer, but the Gunners may have more of a reason to make a move for Olise instead.

By pursuing a deal to sign the 21-year-old, it would stop their rivals from acquiring a hugely talented player that could evolve into a £50million-rated star. Mikel Arteta is looking to add a versatile forward and midfielder to his squad before next season – and Olise could play in both roles.

Kieran Tierney exit stance

Arsenal defender Kieran Tierney is expected to depart Emirates Stadium this summer, however the Scotland international appears relaxed about his future.

Amid interest from Newcastle and Celtic, Tierney played the full 90 minutes of Arsenal’s pre-season defeat to Manchester United and after the game discussed his future at the club.

“It’s not really up to me,” he admitted. “I’m happy, I’m working hard every day and getting minutes. I’m just trying to do as well as I can.”
