Neville makes shock Arsenal transfer prediction as Haaland and Walker break silence on argument

Goalkeeper exit

Manchester United legend Gary Neville has claimed that one of Arsenal’s goalkeepers, Aaron Ramsdale or David Raya, will be forced to leave the club sometime soon. Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: “I don’t think it can work in the long term, I’ve said that.

“When I say I don’t think it can work, I don’t think it will work that both of them will stay at the club and compete equally. They won’t.

“One of them will leave.”

Haaland and Walker speak out

Manchester City duo Erling Haaland and Kyle Walker have now spoken on social media following their bust-up with Arsenal coach Nicolas Jover after Sunday’s Premier League clash at the Emirates Stadium Walker took to Instagram, writing: “Back to back defeats is a level we cannot and will not accept.

“We have a period of time now to put things right and re group and show everyone our true level. Thank you for your support today.”

City striker Haaland wrote a message in a similar sentiment, saying: “Not the way we wanted to go into the international break, but we will bounce back together, as always (raised hands emoji) (blue heart emoji).” The result leaves City third in the standings, two points behind league leaders Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal going into the international break.

Arteta defends Raya

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta defender David Raya after the Spaniard drew some criticism for his shaky on-ball display during his side’s 1-0 victory against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon. When asked about the home crowd’s frustrations with the 28-year-old, Arteta replied: “It’s my fault, all my fault. They can boo me.

“I asked him to do that. Especially against this team, you start to do other things and you get in big, big, big trouble. He was excellent, the way he dominated his box, the way he came up for crosses in set pieces. He’s got big ones.

“The crowd go like this, other players start to kick balls everywhere. I said to him make sure you don’t do it. He didn’t do it and at the end he got rewarded, the team started to play the game we wanted much better.”
