Pedro Neto transfer links, Arteta beats Guardiola, Saka injury latest, Arsenal Saliba boost

It took eight years but Arsenal’s first Premier League win over Manchester City since 2015 was worth the wait. A cagey affair looked to be heading towards a goalless draw before Gabriel Martinelli’s shot from distance deflected off Nathan Ake to give the Gunners the win five minutes from time.

The win sent the Gunners above City into second in the Premier League table heading into the international break. Despite a positive game in which Arsenal finally went toe-to-toe with Pep Guardiola’s side and came out on top, there are some concerns when it comes to injuries for Leandro Trossard and William Saliba.

The biggest of all though is over Bukayo Saka. The 22-year-old was absent from the squad for the game on Sunday for the first time in 87 matches with a hamstring injury that has ruled him out of international duty.

With all that going on it felt like the perfect time for a discussion of all things Arsenal in our View From the Clock End podcast. On the latest show, our Gunners writers Kaya Kaynak and Tom Canton discuss all goings on at the Emirates Stadium and beyond.
